An open lecture about essential knives and tools you might need for camping, hiking, travel, and survival. Come and learn about their variety, functions, and the materials they are made of. We will tell you how to care properly for them and where to get them.

An open lecture about survival skills. We will not drink filtered water from the trash can or eat uncooked bats. We will tell you about the basic skills you might learn and develop. Survival doesn't necessarily mean you must be a special forces soldier to use them. Survival might happen when you take a wrong turn with your city car.

An open lecture about helpful equipment. What do you need when travelling, hiking, and driving in Finalnd? We will share our knowledge and have an open discussion with people about what else we can have in our backup.

Type: Hiking
Short hiking trip of Legio Externa. We will take a ride on a bus and go to the hiking trail that is not so far from the university campus. We all need to enjoy nature at the end of Wappu: the first breath of spring is here. Join us. The event is open to everyone. However, the participation fee for the members will be reduced compared to a guest ticket.

There are a lot of people who are staying in Lappeenranta for the summer and not leaving Finland. We will organise some activities for everyone who is in the city.
